Penn Reels in Philadelphia, Pa. stopped making the Penn Sea Hawk #77 model in the late 1980s, after a 30-some year run of popularity. This reel appears to have been made in 1977 and there is no indication that it has ever been used. It is in the original box and packed with Catalog 36B copyrighted in 1976 – a rare find.
